Who we are

The Romania–Iceland Bilateral Chamber of Commerce is an independent, non-political and non-profit organisation established to promote and develop economic, trade, investment, scientific, educational and cultural relations between Romania and Iceland.

Legal and institutional framework

The Chamber operates in accordance with Romanian legislation applicable to associative organisations and the chamber system, with reference to Law no. 335/2007 on Chambers of Commerce in Romania and the principles established by economic and trade agreements governing relations between Romania, the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Republic of Iceland.

Our mission

Our mission is to facilitate institutional and business dialogue between the two countries, create concrete opportunities for companies, investors and entrepreneurs, and contribute to sustainable partnerships based on innovation, sustainability and competitiveness.

Vision

The Romania–Iceland Bilateral Chamber of Commerce aims to become the main catalyst of economic relations between the two countries and an excellence platform for the business community, contributing to increased investment, bilateral trade development and stronger cooperation between Romania and Iceland.

We build economic bridges between Romania and Iceland, turning opportunities into lasting partnerships and investments into development.
